Our insulated roof panels are produced by one of Europe’s largest manufacturers that have an enviable reputation for innovation, quality and long-term performance.
Panels are a direct replacement for your existing glass or polycarbonate units and can normally be fitted in a day. They also carry a 10-year manufacturer’s and UV stability guarantee.
What are the other options?
… You could replace the whole roof, but this is a more expensive option requiring a structural check of the existing frames and possibly foundations to support any additional weight. You are now also required to seek Building Regulations (which we organise) and sometimes Planning approvals! If this however, is a consideration, let us know as we have the skilled workforce to undertake this type of project.
… You could simply install a ceiling under your existing glazed roof. Great if your current roof is in tip-top condition, but if not, leaks could still occur and cause internal damage to your property. Condensation may build up if not vented properly and glass sealed units have also been known to blow if adequate protection has not been taken to reduce heat build up. This is not an option we can recommend anyone to undertake!
With our German engineered replacement composite panels, you are protected outside and in with insulated, waterproofed and thermally efficient non-maintenance materials to provide comfort all year round that could, depending on panel thickness, reduce heat loss through the roof by between 50 and 70%. Solar gain due to direct sunlight is also vastly reduced.
These types of panels have been used for their structural strength and lightness for many years and feature in marine and aeronautical structures as well as insulated vehicle bodies and modular buildings.
